A friend asked me at lunch, âwhatâs the secret to your self-discipline? You donât eat past 1pm, you exercise everyday."
And then I stumbled⊠I had to think for a bit.
âI see the world very differently than most people.â
What followed was an exploration of my perspective on the world and on myself, and how it makes me more self-disciplined than most humans on the planet.
How I See MyselfâŠ
I have limitless willpower. I am a master of my mind. I do not self-sabotage for short-term rewards. I am a teacher of joy. I am a role model for others. My body is all I have.
I have a stronger identity than most people which I uphold. Seeing myself as a superhuman lifts me up. My self-talk looks like âthatâs not meâ and âI just donât do that.â This identity has formed over years of self-reflective journaling. This daily practice has encoded my values into my brain.
Most humans donât know their values as well as I do. So they just float around like a sleep walker.
The second thing here is my relationship with my body. My body and organs are my best friends. Would you poison your loved ones? Well, if you gift them alcohol or treats, thatâs what youâre doing. Because my body is my most prized possession, I take care of it. Itâs my highest priority.
How I See the WorldâŠ
Poison is everywhere. Lies about happiness are everywhere. The norm is insane. Humans are insane. Corporations are brainwashing you.
Letâs begin with my view on food and substances⊠Most of it is poison. Some people eat ice cream and tell themselves âI deserve this treat.â I say âI am poisoning my self.â Because thatâs what is true. The research is settled⊠sugar and saturated fat destroy your body.
