Being real is being radically honest. I aspire to enable people to be real around me. One week ago, I triggered someone at a party. Someone I really wanted to be friends with. Eventually, she offered me some difficult feedback. I responded by celebrating her honesty. Her realness. My message was as follows: “I hear you. I am sorry. I agree that I mistreated you.”
