— The Party Scientist… When our nervous system is calm, relaxed, or joyful, it's much easier to access the frontal lobe and connect with others. When we're in a fight or flight response, we cannot access the rational mind or the connection system.
IMPLEMENTATION
Every week, I introduce one practical behavior I have added to my life.
Vocal outloud brainstorming.
This week, I was preparing for 5 sessions I am running in Las Vegas. So I went on a walk, I turned on my voice recorder and I spoke out loud to myself. Brainstorming the program for the sessions. I created an entire keynote speech. It worked well.
