Aloha Connection Catalyst,

I’ve been reading Oprah’s book about Trauma, dancing into the night on weekends, and slacklining at the beach into the sunset. Today, I want to share my newly trauma-informed perspective on facilitating human connection.

Listen to learn…

  1. The Regulate-Relate-Reason model.

  2. To become a facilitator fun at parties you’re attending.

  3. To be trauma-informed.

PS — a nugget from my past in Berlin.

âš  Below is the public version from last week.

Emotional availability is the pre-condition for all intimate connections.

PERSONAL EVOLUTION

I posted this on LinkedIn yesterday. The moral of the story, sometimes you have to explore aimlessly to rediscover your focus —

The Rollercoaster of Entrepreneurship!.. I can't believe I am sharing this photo on LinkedIn.

Merely a year ago, I was traveling the world aimlessly, leading virtual events, and developing my mind and sense of self-esteem.

My mind (and hair) sure developed, but the business did not. I was distracted by self-development opportunities and peak experiences. And I'm not complaining!

Traveling the world for 8 months led me to emcee my first big conference, meditate in darkness for 8 days, live with my mom for ten days in Hawaii, and experience what hippies live like in Guatemala... It was all worthwhile.

But... I was not focused.

Over the last year, my focus has returned to me. I'm finally developing a product that can scale my efforts toward combatting the rise of loneliness and depression.

And the product needs feedback from remote team leads.

In three words, I'm working on developing a psychological safety energizer. A new team ritual that takes 10 minutes every week.

But... I am not a know-it-all, and for this reason, I am asking my network for HELP.

I am looking to interview remote team leads about their concerns and problems — in the context of team connectedness and performance.

If you want to help me spread the mental health benefits of human connection, I'd appreciate your introductions!
